January – June 2017 Crown Hotel Function Menus

The Crown Hotel has both the regular dining room and the private function room through the beer garden, both available for functions. With seating capacity for up to 65, and canapé for up to 100 the private room suits any birthday or anniversary party, farewell function, lunch or dinner meeting. There is free Wi-Fi and full conference facilities, as well as a complete bar.

Option A - 2 courses for $21, 3 courses for $26

Entrées – Soup of the day – choose between Roast pumpkin/ cream of cauliflower/ potato and leek

Mains – Roast of the day (Pork or Beef)/ crumbed flathead/ chicken breast schnitzel/ beef silverside/ crumbed fish cakes (all served with sides to the table) 

Desserts – Sticky date pudding or chocolate fudge pudding

Please select the 1 soup, 2 mains and 1 dessert to be served on the day. Mains are served on platters in the middle of the table, with enough for each person to have a portion of both options. 

Option B, 2 courses for $26, 3 courses for $31

Entrées – Soup of the day (choose between options listed above) / spring rolls / arancini / croquettes

Mains – Roast of the day (Pork or Beef)/ crumbed flathead/ chicken breast schnitzel/ beef silverside/ crumbed fish cakes (all served with sides to the table)

Desserts – Sticky date pudding / chocolate fudge pudding

Please select 1 entrée, 2 mains and 1 dessert to be served on the day.

All courses are served individually, mains are served as an alternate drop. If you would like to order mains on the day a surcharge of $2 per person applies. 

You choose! Select any entrees, main courses and desserts that you would like on an individualised menu and we can let you know the cost per person.

These menus above are our standard basic function packages and may not suit all guests or functions.

If you have a specific menu or choices in mind please be in touch as we would love to organise an individualised quote for you.

  • Different options are available for the main courses should the standard options not suit. Please advise if you would like different items and we can give you a revised menu and cost.
  • Final confirmations of guest numbers are required at least 2 business days before your booking. The confirmed guest number is the amount charged unless there are extra guests.
  • All dietary requirements can be catered to, and must be confirmed with guest numbers. If told on the night, meals will be made separate to the function meals and will be charged at a la carte menu prices.
  • All tables will be set with our standard cutlery and crockery as required for your menu. If linen table cloths are required they will incur a $5 per cloth charge. 7 days’ notice is required to organise these.
  • For seniors coach bookings, the driver and hostess will be provided a meal FOC each service.
  • Coach bookings are generally at 12noon, 6pm or 6.30pm. Other times may be possible, please enquire with Rachel or Tristan.
  • Our standard opening hours are lunch and dinner Monday – Saturday. We do open on Sundays, for long weekends and when special events dictate. We can also open for your booking, please be aware a minimum spend will apply.

Currently we are open Monday – Saturday from 10 am. Meals are 12 – 2pm Monday – Saturday, 6 – 8 Monday – Thursday, and 6 – 8.30 Friday and Saturday nights.
